"Black Ops" is the 7th, surly not the last, installment in the popular 1st-person shooter franchise. With Infinity Ward out of the picture, Treyarch manages to keep the franchise going strong with this action-packed, fun fueled adventure. Will it please the fans? It depends. If you were used to IW's Modern Warfare and didn't care for Treyarch's "World At War", you probably won't like "Black Ops". If you take games seriously when it comes to timelines and weapons, you definitely will not like this game. Then again, the "CoD" shouldn't be taken too seriously. The weapons may not exactly match the timeline in this game, but why make it a big deal? You might as well complain about the chainsaw-shotgun attachment in "Gears of War". As for the campaign, it's pretty straightforward. It's not historically correct, but it's a lot of fun.the zombie mode is pretty much the best thing about this game, Multiplayer coming 2nd.The graphics in this game are top notch, sort of.They look great at times, sometimes they look a little cartoonish. If there's anything to admit about the graphics, this game has the absolute best looking explosions out of the whole franchise, so far. With Zombies and Multiplayer, "Black Ops" has a very long-lasting appeal and will surly keep fans coming back for more.
