Another masterpice from the director of "The Dark Knight".

Christopher Nolan has given the world one of the very best movies of 2008.Now he has improved with "Inception", the best movie of the year so far. This is a complex science-fiction movie that's heavy on plot and not as heavy on special effects as Michael Bay is with movies like "Armageddon" and "Transformers" Revenge of the Fallen".Everything from the special effetcs to the plot to the characters are all just fascinating.Nolan mixes little action with lots of science fiction and adds some drama and the result is a mind bender of a movie that grabs ahold of you and doesn't let you go.As for the actors, everyone is good here.Leonardo Dicaprio might've been a little better in "The Departed" and "Shutter Island", but his performance here is good nonetheless.Ellen Page (Juno) gives another good performance and was the perfect choice for her character. If there's anyone here who gives one of his best performances, it's Cillian Murphy. If he could easily play the Scarecrow in "Batman Begins" and the sinister villain in "Red Eye" without any problems, it must've been a real smooth one here for Murphy. He plays his role with such depth and emotion that I really got into his character from the start. Is it a remarkable and groundbreaking performances? Not quite. But it's a pretty darn good one.

Cobb (Dicaprio) is a skilled extractor payed to invade people's dreams and steal their secrets and ideas that they'll use later on in life. He's the world's most skilled extractor and it isn't long before he's given an offer that he just can't refuse.A man named Sato tells Cobb that he must invade someone's dreams and plant an idea instead of stealing one.The process of stealing an idea is called extraction.Planting one is called inception. It's the name of the movie, what a coincidence!

We've seen a similar plot to that and the name was "A Nightmare On Elm Street".There are some minor and major differences between these 2 movie but it would be useless to tell them to you because you already know.Nolan gave us some brilliant movies and "Inception" is a real contender. Not just for his best film but for best picture of the year.If this is nominated for the Oscar for best picture but doesn't win, critics have lost their taste in brilliant movies. They're probably better off with movies like "Eat Pray Love" and "Lottery Ticket".I have to say that "Inception" will win my vote for best movie of 2010 if no other movie can rise above it.

Grade: A
