Fun, sometimes funny, but not as raunchy or entertaining as "The Hangover".

Seeing Tony Stark from "Iron Man" and Fat Jesus from "The Hangover" star in a comedy directed from Todd Phillips working their magic on screen is truly a gift. After "Iron Man", I thought That Robert had great potential to star in comedies like these. As for Zach Galifianakis, he's not as stupid as he was in "The Hangover", which doesn't make him as funny, but he's still fun to watch with his clumsiness and somewhat stupidity. The movie itself, however, forgets that raunch can make movies funny. That's pretty much why "The Hangover" was better, it was crude, sexual, and stupid, making it an utterly hilariously amusing movie. The director did a fine job by mixing crude/sex jokes and stupid-ness in his previous film, but "Due Date" does not follow in those steps. There are some funny and raunchy moments, but the fact that 50% of the movie's jokes were shown in the trailer makes the movie 50% less funny. There's a scene where Zach bursts out laughing after Robert Downey Jr. tells him about his father leaving him.Show it in the movie alone, it could've been a huge laugh.Show it in the trailer, you only made it a chuckle while watching the movie.Tsk, tsk, tsk.The movie also feels predictable in parts. You can literally tell if someone has a secret they're not telling if they look and talk awkward.I will give credit to Todd Phillips for making the movie a little emotional in about 1 or 2 scenes, so the film doesn't feel like another dumb comedy.

On the plus side, Robert Downey Jr. and Zach G. deliver entertaining performances, making it an amusing chemistry between 2 people, 1 who hates the other , and 1 who looks like a grizzly bear. Now there's a good combo.Despite predictability and lack of raunchiness, "Due Date" delivers enough entertainment to satisfy the average movie-goer.Not the smartest movie-goer, just the average.Hopefully, "The Hangover Part II" will follow the raunchy and funny steps the original took.
