It sure does.

"Kick-Ass" is the hard-R superhero movie we've all been waiting for.People who were disappointed with the hard-R superhero movie "Watchmen" will find themselves very surprised with "Kick-Ass".This is an undeniably entertaining movie that delivers some of the comedy it promises but ultimately delivers the action we were craving for.People who are going to see this movie thinking it's a comedy with action thrown into it might be a little disappointed. This is an action movie with comedy thrown into it.40% of it is comedy while the remaining 60% has a serious tone to it.The film didn't do as good with the critics like I thought it would.Sure, a solid B is good, but some of the reviews surprised me.Film critic Roger Ebert gave it a D while another gave it a C-.Were these people not ready to handle the movie's content or what? Some may have been disappointed with the fact that the movie has a dark and violent streak to it.As I said before, it's a hard-R movie. The violence is graphic and the F-bomb is used over 100 times in the 117 minute running time.Forget the language, it's most likely the violence that upsetted most people. The things I would like to say to those people's faces for being offended by graphic violence.Grow up! There are a lot more violent movies than this. It's definitely one of the most violent action-comedies I've seen, but it was entertaining to me.I enjoyed seeing an 11-year old use blades and guns and sometimes using crude language an 11-year old shouldn't use.Where's your sense of humor? C'mon, there's a lot of good things to enjoy here. One of them is the actors and their performances.Aaron Johnson gives one of the best zero-to-hero performances in the history of zero-to-hero superhero movies.Chloe Grace Moretz shines as Hit Girl. Her performances is so good here that anyone who didn't like her deserves to be punished, badly.Christopher Mintz-Plasse from "Superbad" gives another great performance as Red Mist while Nicolas Cage truly delivers as Big Daddy. There's the performances and the action sequences which I found pretty entertaining."Kick-Ass" kicked my ass and I hope it does the same to you, because I think this is one of the best films of the year whether violence hating snobs like it or not.
